As I looked back… BY Fern

There I was stood looking at the horizon, the blue water shimmering underneath the boat. I glanced back, there was grandma and Eddie waving me and my family good bye. I got a thump in my throat when looking back. Was this really it? Am I never going to see them agiain. Dads really happy , but there is a voice in my head saying that something bad is going to happen. But I dont know what. Maybe I  get thrown over the boat, maybe I love it and enjoy everything I do, I might see great huge animals that are amazing. But there was still a voice in the back of my head. I looked back at Eddie grippingg the ball he gave me, I am never going to let go of this ball it’s a lucky charm…
